The three Departments of the Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira are

  • Control Department
  • Research Department
  • Administrative Department

Communications, Zoonosis Centre and three key processes (Animal Health and Welfare, Food Safety, Plant Production and Health) operate directly under the control of the Director General.

Risk Assessment, Meat Inspection and Plant Breeders' Right operate under the control of the Deputy Director General.
