The grain laboratory produces grain-related information and provides laboratory and training services, intended to promote the use and competitiveness of domestic grain.
The grain laboratory is a FINAS-accredited test laboratory (T014), which is competent to conduct extensive grain quality analysis. It conducts its operations in compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, intervention regulations, and national or international practices and policies.
The grain laboratory is a GAFTA (The Grain & Feed Trade Association) approved testing laboratory. Rules formulated by GAFTA are primarily applied in the international grain and feed trade. GAFTA has created an approval system for laboratories for the purpose of quality assurance in trade-related analysis.Only approved laboratories are entitled to analyse samples in trading carried out under GAFTA rules.
