Reference laboratory operations
These operations warrant the reliability of investigation results provided by various laboratories and that such results sustain national and international harmonisation. Reference laboratory operations are a fundamental element of overall laboratory activities at Evira.
Outputs from the reference laboratories comprise information on, e.g., occurrences of bacterial contamination of food, animal diseases and residues. In addition, the laboratories participates in domestic and international research and development activities in the field, and in other collaboration.
