The Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira will introduce a new press release distribution system at the beginning of May 2016. Distribution will continue to be based on subscriptions and will concern both press releases and withdrawal news. This press release has been sent to all subscribers of press releases and withdrawal news, and Evira is also testing the new system at the same time.
All current subscribers of Evira’s press releases and withdrawal news will be transferred to the new service. The language selections of the subscriptions will remain unchanged. As a result of the new service, separate, subject-specific distribution of press releases will end as many press releases concern several subject areas and the number of traditional press releases has fallen.
Subscriptions can be cancelled or amended from the bottom of every press release and withdrawal notice.
Only the subscribers’ email addresses will be saved in the new system, and they will not be used for any other purposes. The change is related to the upgrade of the publication system of the Evira-fi website.
