Wild animals

Capturing wild mammals and birds for keeping them in captivity is not allowed, unless the animal is captured to keep it in a zoo; or to farm it in order to produce meat or eggs or breeding stock for production of meat or eggs; or for game management purposes; or to provide temporary health care to the animal; or for some other acceptable temporary reason; or for scientific research.

An animal captured to provide temporary health care to it or for some other acceptable reason must be released as soon as it is fit for it, if it can be expected to adapt to living in the wild without difficulties. If the animal cannot be released or cared for, it has to be killed.
