Import from countries with a special agreement

The rules for the EU internal market regarding the trade and transport of food of animal origin are applied to certain countries outside the EU, based on special agreements with these countries. In these cases, no veterinary border control is needed when importing food to Finland, but it is covered by the control at the point of entry.
