Small and medium-sized enterprises and the prerequisites for their operations

Evira is participating in several projects which aim at easing the administrative burden of small and medium-sized enterprises within the food sector. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Evira organised a seminar in May 2010 in relation to the projects, with the aim of discussing food legislation from the point of view of small and medium-sized enterprises. In addition to officials from the European Commission and from Finland, food business operators from small and medium-sized enterprises participated the seminar.
