SUPPORT AND INFORMATION FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES
This website contains information on setting up and operating a food business. Among other things, the site offers help with
- common questions about starting a business;
- setting up a restaurant;
- setting up a meat-processing facility; and
- starting to process and sell food at your farm.
In the future, the site will be updated with instructions for operating a food business. We will also publish examples of good, practical solutions adopted by food companies.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON THIS SITE
This site was created by one of the key projects of Juha Sipilä’s Government. The project is funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and will continue until the end of 2018. Additional information on the project is available here:
