Too much benzo(a)pyrene in Arctic Omega-3 fish oil product
Force Sports Nutrition Ky has withdrawn from the market a batch of Force Arctic Omega-3 fish oil capsules in containers of 100 capsules.
The product is manufactured by 13:e Protein Import Self Omninutrition in Sweden.
Best before date of the product is 04/2010 and the LOT number of the batch is 1129.
The product contains an amount of benzo(a)pyrene that exceeds the permitted maximum level. The product has been sold via the Internet from the company’s own web pages to about 60 customers in all. The company has personally contacted the customers about the withdrawal. The company is also making a note about the matter on their own web pages.
