Registered suppliers must notify Evira in writing of any major changes in operations, such as establishing a new place of business, changes in the name or line of business, or the termination of operations.
Forest reproductive material suppliers must notify well in advance of their intent to begin seed collection or to import batches of forest reproductive material.
Suppliers producing clones through vegetative propagation must file an annual notification of the amounts of material produced.
The owner of basic material or possessor of the related right of use must notify Evira if approved basic material remains unused, or cannot be used for producing reproductive material.
When forest reproductive material is marketed from Finland to another EU member state, the supplier of the material must report the sold lot to Evira.
All notifications, except the import notification, are submitted through the MEVI information system. Import notifications are submitted using a free-form document.
