Research Seminar 1.4.2014: Fish rhabdoviruses are a major cause of disease in Finland


DVM Tuija Gadd  lectures on the fish rhabdovirus, which are major pathogens of the Finnish fish. Many rhabdoviruses are pathogens that can infect humans, animals and plants. Such viruses have an impact on public health, on the health of animals and on the agricultural sector. The oldest and most famous type species of rhabdovirus is the rabies virus.
